    Default State Animals

Since I've moved, I was curious about the state animals here and whatnot, so I decided to look some up

    State Animals

It's kind of interesting how many there can be, and some of them are pretty neat. Is your state's cool or lame? :P

    California:

    State Animal: California Grizzly Bear
    State Insect: California Dogface Butterfly
    State Marine Mammal: Gray Whale
    State Fish: Golden Trout
    State Bird: California Quail
    State Marine Fish: Garibaldi
    State Reptile: Desert Tortoise

    Vermont:

    State Animal: Morgan Horse
    State Butterfly: Monarch Butterfly
    State Bird: Hermit Thrush
    State Insect: Honeybee
    State Amphibian: Northern Leopard Frog
State Cold Water Fish: Brook Trout
State Reptile: Painted Turtle State Warm Water Fish: Walleye Pike

California's are of course pretty awesome, though Florida was actually the coolest I looked at so far.

Animal of scotland - the haggis. It's so cute. It's front legs are shorter than it's back legs for going up hills >.< But it has a really sore bite

    Here's a piciature

I lied. There is no tartan-clef-haggis.

    Cheers Jango. XD
