A few thoughts

Well, i've had a few thoughts...

1. In the description of "forum talk" add bold text saying that the rules are located there. Sometimes people might have a hard time finding the rules, since it's not clearly labeled. I know I mentioned this before, but you never did anything about it, so. Also, put a link to the Forum Talk section in New Gamers, so people can find it easier. Though, this might already be there, i haven't checked.

2. Change "Spammer's Corner" to "Off-topic" or "free section" or something to that effect, because some people seem to think spammers corner means they can post links to stupid websites and stuff there, I remember one member having a tantrum when he got yelled at for doing that.

3. Remove the RPG section. There's basically no interest in it, and since it's unused, I think removing it would make the place look a tad bit better.


Those are just my suggestions, but ultimately the decision is yours linux

The first one was already done a while ago. You already suggested that.

As for spammer's corner, I added "DO NOT advertise in here" to the description. Although I like your other titles, the name Spammers Corner is unique to me and I haven't seen it on other forums. I have seen off-topic and free section (On a web hosting forum I was a part of years ago) before though.

As for removing the RPG section, I probably will do that and "pretty" up the boards a little as well. I've been working on something that will work for the past few weeks (haven't had much time lately) so hopefully that'll come by sometime in August.

I added it a few weeks ago. You may not have noticed it because I paraphrased what you suggested earlier. But the spammers corner description was just updated after this thread was posted.

Not to be a smart - mouth but since omar's thread was moved to spammers corner and if you advertise you will be banned and he is trying to do so wouldnt that be a ban?

The banned part is to scare them away. They'll get a spam ad infraction. Two of those would be enough for a ban. He has one.
