Hey, I'm thinking of buying new graphic card for my desktop. (in the near future)
But I just wanna improve my general knowledge about pc, what is the world most powerful graphic card on the market today?
Try to search on goggle but didn't help.

Geforce GTX 480 on the nvidia side and radeon 5770 on the ATI side are two of the latest ones. You probably didn't search right.
You should also make sure your PC can handle an upgrade of a graphics card - meaning make sure it has the slot on the mobo and space in the case otherwise it would be a waste of money.

That's tougher, you're gonna have to find a custom card that fits your laptop, don't think the gtx 480 exists for laptops yet. I'm not a big laptop guy so i can't say where you can get a card like that. I'd recommend you contact your laptop manufacturer and ask if they have upgrades.

Be careful! Laptops are very tricky and specific to update graphic wise.
Take this advice, the great advice I could offer you.
