whats the hardest game you've ever played?

Ninja Gaiden II: Dark Sword of Chaos for NES is pretty damn hard....

hmm... it was a ps2 game called chaos legion. it was a fair difficulty until the very end. the final boss was tough!

Since I'm older the game is so simple for me now, but FF8 use to be the hardest game in the world (which made it SO rewarding for me to beat it), because I didn't fully understand it. I was still in my early school years and didn't fully understand the game, so early on I leveled up a lot thinking it would make the game easier, but in FF8 the enemies levels scale with you giving them great abilities and me none since I didn't have any GFs/summons in the game yet. There was so much I didn't understand about that game the first time I played it.

Also just recently tried to beat Mass Effect 2 on the hardest difficulty, because I noticed that it just so happened to be the only remaining achievement, and I don't think I'll ever get that... I know when I'm outmatched.

Currently I am stuck on English Country Tune. Its a fairly early part in the game so I am sure it will get harder. Not gonna cheat my way through that puzzle game.

I would say with out a doubt the "Drama Game" is the hardest, i usually play this with my wife and daughters and end up losing every time

I tend not to play hard games because they just piss me off lol but the hardest one I have played is probably... Dark Souls sadly. Maybe Infestation: Survivor Stories just because it's almost impossible to get started in that game without some dbag killing you and taking all your stuff.
