Default Never Seen Anything like this

So I woke up like 10 minutes ago from the loudest thunder I heard in 15 years! Yesterday it already rained here in Jeddah for the first time in about 11 months! Then the officials said it was actually gonna be worse today, but no way in hell I expected something like this .____. I woke up, and saw the wind at like I have no idea how fast! If you guys would expirience this you'd probably find it completely normal. But imagine you live in a city where it doesn't rain in sooo long and you BARELY see clouds from Spring till Fall

Now the thing is, the people here barely have a clue on how to cope with this much amount of rain. Right now I here siren's on the main street. Yesterday already the cities drainage system has failed to do its job as we had flooded streets, in some I could'nt even see the sidewalk anymore. But today we literally got raped, and IT'S STILL RAINING really hard! I'll put up some pics from yesterday later. And I don't know if I'm gonna leave the house today since I have a sedan and I love it. SO yeah

Where I live we don't have to be worried at all because I live in the north and we're kind of on a hill so the water flows down, into .......... the south. Where IF you remember last year rain caused IMMENSE damage and 45 people actually died :/ (You can find it on Youtube if you type "Jeddah Flood")

This time I THINK the rain is worse but I really hope the were prepared Yesterday they already mobilized the army to help them in the South.

I'll keep you guys updated .___.

PS. The South is like the Ghetto and yeah where the poorer people live...
    This was yesterday

Nature saves its rain for 11 months then hammers the city.

Nature needs to get a life!!

Looks like no physical harm was done to humans this time!

JEDDAH: Heavy rains with strong winds continued to drench Jeddah on Thursday morning with the southern part of the city getting the maximum rainfall.

Vehicular traffic has been suspended at the underpass on King Abdullah Road, as the levels of rainwater rose to dangerous levels. Authorities have issued a warning and are diverting traffic from the underpass.

The morning turned to night as dark clouds enveloped the city for most of the morning.

Motorists who had braved the elements on this weekend morning had to negotiate fierce winds, rain-soaked roads and waterlogged areas while driving bumper to bumper. In the main roads the head-lamped traffic looked like a slow convoy, with drivers being extra cautious.

The sun peeped out only around noontime in the northern part of Jeddah with the downpour continuing in various parts of the city. - ArabNews

This is the main shopping district with stores like Gucci, Ralph Lauren,.... in it
