I didn't see any threads for this so I figured I'd post one.

Darkspore is an Action-RPG(Diablo like) game created by Maxis, same people who developed Spore.

One of it's coolest features is the ability to Edit and customize your Creatures using the Spore Editor. Different Body parts give you different Stat bonuses and act like Equipment and armor do in other RPG games.

The Gameplay is very much like Diablo where you goto a Planet and fight your way to a boss hoping for a rare (body part) drop, you can take up to 3 heroes with you and switch between them at anytime with a slight cooldown.

You can also pick up DNA which is used as Gold pieces/money.

There is a PVP mode that is A LOT like LoL(League of Legends) except it's more of a team death match vs heroes rather then a kill their towers and minions, though they could easily add a Dota PVP gametype.

Oh another interesting fact is there is going to be 100 Heroes at launch, I played the beta for about 20 hours and only had 7 so 100 heroes is quiet the accomplishment.

Wasn't there a game called just Spore? That had little creatures in.. Any relation at all?

I've seen this advertised before, but I know that if I get it, I will think it's awesome for the day, then I won't play it the next :P
