What are your opinions on it?

If you don't know what it is, it's Google's upcoming social networking site.

It's in Beta right now so you need an invite. If you want an invite mention it. Idk if I have any left though.

My opinion: I don't see anything special about it. Facebook is enough for me.

Although the video chat features have potential.

I've yet to use it, but looked at reviews, screnshots, video overviews, and I can say...that it's worse than Facebook. I like the layout of it better, and it looks like more people may even use it over time, but it's not secure enough for me.

Facebook has access to my profile info, so does Google+. But I'm seeing a lot of how Google+ pulls your search history, and your e-mail history to provide you with "better service", or more ads. I don't feel comfortable with that, and probably won't be on Google+ any time soon just because of it. Hope it does well and makes some changes, though.

Wait, Google is making a social networking place?? Its gonna fail. Look at Youtube, it turned awful, ad after ad after ad. Plus my playlist on there keeps messing up. I have to find a new video of the song to put on my playlist cause of the stupid WME or something like tht keeps deleting my songs.

i dont think it will be a complete failure...but there old SN site failed i know......i just dont think it will be as popular as facebook.....FB managed to kick out hi5, bebo and myspace.

i liked myspace because of how much you can customize it, facebook pretty much got rid of all of that, now it's like a big chatroom. i'm sure this'll be everything i don't like about facebook, so i'll pass unless i hear otherwise
