Lead and Gold - Gangs of the Wild West - Free Weekend at Steam

Steam is having a free weekend for the game Lead and Gold- Gangs of the Wild West.

I gave it a try and it's OK. I can't call it my favorite game or one of my top games. Steam classifies it as an action game rather than a shooter. It has some interesting stuff but still needs some work, especially when it comes to connecting to servers. I can't connect to games that are already in progress. Only way for me to get into a game is to join a lobby that hasn't started yet. I read on the game website that it's a bug and it needs to be fixed.

Processor: Dual-core processor (Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon X2 5200+ 2.6 GHz)
Memory: 1.5 GB RAM
Hard Drive: 2.0 GB free space
Graphics: DirectX 9.0c/Shader3.0 compatible, VRAM 512 MB (NVIDIA GeForce 7800 series or ATI Radeon X1900)
Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound cards
DirectX®: DirectX 9.0c

Not that heavy compared to other games that have recently come out. And it's a budget game, $7.49 on steam right now (normally $15) but I doubt I'll be getting it after the weekend is up.

You should still download and try it out. It's free so it can't hurt. And if you turn down all the settings for the game, you may be able to run it without a problem.

I'll check it out looks like a lot of fun yet I'm sure my computer will have trouble running it.. Yet it is free and thx for sharing this with use....

They're having another free steam weekend with this: Save 75% on Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West on Steam - from now to Sunday March 27th - I think it ends at 1pm from what I remember from the popup when I started steam.

Install Lead and Gold0 << Link might help start install.

And I guess game isn't doing as well as they'd hoped - it's $2.50 now for the full version.
