    Dell.
    It have better specs.

Sometime, the expensive one will be the best.

I would go for dell not just cos its more expensive, but because their aftersales are second to none. They may seem pricey but reliability wise it will be worth it in the long term.

Dell isn't reliable. If I were to pick between the two, I'd probably go for the Asus, but then again, I never owned an Asus computer but I know they make great hardware.

You should open yourself up to other brands as well, like Sony, Lenovo, and Toshiba.

Don't even consider Dell. Asus make great products and are a very reputable company, go with them.

I bought a big Asus laptop about a year ago. The only thing I've had a problem with was the ATI card and even that was just driver issues. Reliable computers

i would personally go for the asus, much better made computers, especially for gaming, dell is just ehhh, for gaming i would go for asus or toshiba but they tend to be more expensive, but HP also makes nice computers that tend to be cheaper

Definitly go for the Asus, I only ever used the one and that was at my local church but it was good.

We use Acer laptops and no complaints, infact we've just bought a new one and so spen the last day or so downloading odds and ends to our taste. We did buy a Dell recently, and I can't say that I was that overjoyed with it as a laptop for internet use. So I use it for general storage of private papers and letters etc.

Dell actually makes a very good product, however, no company can produce that many units without some faults along the way. The real test is whether they will stand behind their work. Unfortunately, in these troubled economic times Dell has chosen to do away with anything even closely resembling "customer service."
