This is amazing. Bungie has the following on their site:

Matches Logged (Last 24 hours): 4,775,642
UNSC Campaign Kill Count: 421,903,592

That is intense! In just 48 hours there have already been almost a half a billion kills on Halo 3. That's a whole lot of bodies......
