Evelyn?

Hey everyone. I recently bought Evelyn and it seems like no matter what I do I can't effectively use Evelyn. I've gotten some nice kills nut if people actually turn around and attack me I seem to get outperformed by every hero. Any ideas on how to improve my play or how to build her correctly?

Honestly? Wait until the stealth rework. She got hit pretty hard when they removed her stun, and people don't really play her anymore, because she is totally outclassed. Some people still play her, and I don't know the reasoning behind it (I suppose there is one), but most people just don't play her anymore. You can still utilize her stealth, but she's not as strong as she used to be. I usually don't think that you should stop playing a champion when they get nerfed, as often people cry about it when the "nerf" still makes them totally viable. Not sure about Evelynn, though.

Once the stealth rework comes out, she and Twitch will actually be useful.

Twitch and Evelynn are/were binary champions that can pubstomp really well, but will usually fail against people who know what they are doing. The stealth can really surprise people who aren't map aware/don't buy wards/etc. However, that's not usually a good tactic to rely on, because not everyone is unaware.

I play Evelyn every once in a while. She's really fun to play as but is beaten by every hero in a 1v1. I've done pretty good in some games but she is really underpowered. Reading the league of legends forums the devs said they intentionally overnerfed Evelyn and plan and rebuffing her when the stealth rework is done, which has been ignored for over a year and will continue to be ignored because they are working on balancing the masteries, making new hero skins, the new Dodge rework project, and various other things that will leave Evelyn the worst hero for months to come.
