Default RAM Is Down, Even Though I am Running Nothing. :(

I have scanned my comp twice.
It found 8 viruses (trojans), this was yesterday.
I deleted for the same reason I am posting this thread now.
My ram (I have 4 GB) is normally at 30-40% as well is cpu.
Now, since maybe 3 days ago, it stays at about 60-80, and cpu at nearly 80 average.
I need this to go down, really bad, so I hope you guys can give some suggestions.
I am not running any major programs at most times, usually just Skype and Chrome. I do play games a lot, but I have not been lately, to see how my cpu/ram reacts. It still stays the same, no matter what I do. And it rises to a peak of nearly mid 90s.

Edit: Sorry mods, this belongs in computer help, please move it, so I don't have an OCD attack, xD

open msconfig and see what programs are booting on start up, more than likely, you missed an unwanted malware and it's still running in the background.

using task manager to close programs you don't recognize may help too.

And you can try to do a system restore.

And finally, what antivirus software did you use? So many virus scanners are malware themselves and ends up taking so much resources. Just shut that down, it might help.

I am checking my processes now, and system restore was tried, but it sets restore points every download, so I restored yesterday, to find it was installed the day before. :/

I am using malwarebytes anti-malware. It seems to be pretty good, I selected each HD I wanted it to scan as well.

Sorry for the double post, but I found the solution, I found 2 registry errors, and 2 hosting malwares. So, I have seen a drop in RAM. Hopefully I am rid of the problem, but still, I wouldn't have found it if it wasn't for your help LiNuX, it was being launched on start-up. Thanks!
