    Default Thoughts on Skyrim?

I am looking for advice on Skyrim. I have heard that it is an awesome game, and am considering buying it. What do you guys think of it? Any good, or over-rated?

    Thanks

We got tons of threads about Skyrim, I'm sure youll get what youre after by looking into them

    Here's few of them:

    Skyrim! - Gamers Forum

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Closing up after seconds - Gamers Forum

Review Skyrim - After Hour's - Gamers Forum

Totaly over-rated game btw, I just couldn't get my head around it. And I've never liked Dragons that much.

I wouldn't say it's over rated. If you like RPG games based in medieval times then skyrim is one of the best. I think it's the best at what it's trying to be.

I would personally agree that it’s overrated, but it depends on what you are looking for. Just some advice.... don't go into Skyrim if you're looking for an action packed game. It't not a bad game, it's just not very…. exciting. Graphics are nice… you can do some nifty crafting… but it’s the kind of game where if the crafting and awing at the graphics don’t hold your attention, you have to go *find* things to kill and things to do- which is the only thing I don’t like about it. But like they said the threads should give you lots of info

    Thanks for your comments, people.
It sounds like it might not be my thing, as it sounds a bit like it quite exploratory and not quite as "tight" as I would like. I'll contemplate it a bit before I decide....

I'd still try it out Yasdnil. I thought it was worth my money. Yeah it's not action packed, but it's a good game, it'll keep you occupied for awhile lol.

Dragon pets are probably the best haha

The game is great, I didnt finish it yet only because it demands to much time which i cant afford, but the game is very good, though i think it gets boring after a while because there is no co-op and the villages are not that full of civilians.
