Had this conversation with my flatmate the other night. If ac3 is anything like Revelations, we'll be staying clear. They tried to make the game more interesting and less repitive by adding in all the extra crud. Imo it had far too much going on at once. I'd get obsessed with all the little quests and buying all the businesses, that I completely forgot about the main quest. In the end, it gave me a headache. So I read the book instead. much less hassle.

I'm not sure about this.
At the end of Revelations. it's like "Okay Now we go here!" that should be the end of it. you could have another game but no animus. just you playing AS Desmond. I think they are going to milk this for far to long and ruin what is an amazing series. I mean how many "I HAVE IT *five minutes later* OH **** NO I DON'T" Games can you make before it starts getting predicable. Maybe you can start following someone else's life. Refresh the series, give it something new.
