Can't edit my profile

I'm brand new to the forums, and I've been trying to edit my profile, but I keep getting a message saying I don't have permission to do that. I'm logged in, and can post here, but can't make changes to my profile. Is there something I'm missing?

I believe you have to be a member for 24 hours and make a minimum of 10 post. You basically have to do that before you can do anything. We have this for spammers/bots who come in and just post advertisements.
