I am not a fan either. But Star Trek has been going longer. So I'd think it has more fans. Otherwise it would have ended a while ago

Star trek older than star wars? the first 'trek episode was aired in 1988... the first star wars movie was released christmas 1977... google before spouting stupid crap like that.

plus, you're comparing 6 multi million dollar movies accompanied by 3 animated tv series, loads of comics, books and comic book annuals, 3 christmas specials, a star wars magazine that's been running for the last 20 years with an awesome gaming franchise and so many collectable figures some fetching liturally 1000s of pounds (my brother has the original millenium falcon toy, it's worth loads now i expect.) and with conventions held in almost every city including my tiny city twice a year to spock? goddamn. I played one of the first 'trek games, randomly got it with something i bought on ebay, it seemed fun at first then it got boring, but star wars episode 1 the phantom menace on ps1 RULED!

Well my dad loved all the start treks anyway lol.. Although apparenly when star wars epsiode 1 well 4 my dad said that it was something that had never been done b4 and was amazing for the time.
