The Hobbit..... trilogy?

So, apparently The Hobbit is now going to be a 3 part movie. Not sure if I like the idea or don't. On one hand, they're all 3 bound to be awesome.... but I think 3 movies for 1 book is a little over doing it...

Well 1 movie is only a portion of the book. I think it'd be great if they made the whole book into movies. If only they could do one 7 hour long movie

It was always going to be 2, now it's 3. I mean, the book is nonstop action from cover to cover... but 3 movies? The cool part is, they are taking a ton of stuff out of Tolkeins appendices. And since I have had them sitting on my shelf since I was a kid, but haven't read them... Im kind of excited about that part :P

I need to read The Hobbit, not sure if I like those kind of books those. Currently reading the maze runner series, so it'll have to wait, may just get it from a library after or something.
