Default If Xbox or Sony ban used games, will you buy it still?

This topic comes from the rumor that Xbox will require online to activate keys for new games and the key will be rendered useless after 1 user activation. Put this on the Sony rumors. I must say if this does happen I will support neither console, this is anti-consumer behavior and I would not be shocked at all if a class action lawsuit was brought up in the USA, in the EU its a guarantee.

I probably won't be investing in them if this happens. I already put a bunch of money down on my PC, so I'll be sticking with it.

If this happens im kinda screwed too

Wii U; Likely wont have enough games for me
    Vita: is dead
3DS; I mean yeah, but do I want my main gaming on a handheld
PC; would need to save up money for a new desktop, but most viable option I suppose. Dat Sim City 5

I only buy new games after learning that the Dev's don't earn anything from used game sales. Though, I do think it's a bad idea, I know of alot of people who don't have the money to throw at High end titles, when they can easily get the same game a few days after release for alot less.

That's not necessarily true, I'm pretty sure like GameStop and other Preowned selling stores sell old Nintendo/GBC/PS1/Other old console games. So I think they wouldn't close anytime soon.

I think they'll lose a LOT of profit and probably end up closing quite a few stores. I don't think the entire franchise would go under or anything. But yea.

I will stay with pc for sure if this happens, because used games are the way I go.
