Lol Inorite... that's what always sucks me in. And I love how easy Steam makes it to play games with other people.

I mean I don't think they'll ever screw you over unless you do something wrong. It just kind of sucks knowing if steam ever goes bankrupt or something, then all the games go away. Or if they wanted to do D bags and make you pay a monthly fee. You couldn't play any of your games anymore or get a refund for them back.

Yea exactly. I'd def be worried about them going under or something else. Not really worried about them screwing anyone. Gabe's too awesome for that

Well duh... I was meaning my cheap games on ps3 were used, but steam makes up for the lack of used PC games.

This did not quote jak for some reason, and I'm to lazy to get the quote right now.

If its true the problem is not buying used games for me. However if it needs constant connection(like the rumor thinks) and relies much on downloadables I dont think I will buy the new xbox as my connection is not good enough(aka very unstable).

They wouldn't get any money from me that's for sure. I don't think they would ever actually do this though. Microsoft would lose money. They profit from all the xbox live subscriptions, not the actual sale of games. They need a huge game library to make their online service enticing enough for consumers to pay for it. If games were no longer available used that would effectively force anyone who wanted to buy a game buy it new and while people still would the number of people who are willing to shell out 60 bucks for a game would not be 100%. They would lose customers. As for Sony, well, I don't really have a reason for Sony. They seem to like keeping things cheap?

    Well Microsoft released this yesterday.

"Microsoft does not comment on rumours or speculation," said a Microsoft spokesperson.

"We are always thinking about what is next for our platform, but we don't have anything further to share at this time."

    Thanks Microsoft, you're so helpful....
