Howdy!
Well... I'm not really good at starting these kinds of things off. My name is SanctionAngel, you can just call me Sanction. I grew up in the era of Pokemon (for my generation) and was hooked with games ever since. I try to broaden my gaming experience across the different genres (at least one of every type). But I mainly stick to Strategy, MMORP's, and SPRPG's and a few Shooters thrown in
My Games:
Strategy
- League of Legends - Support Main (Bronze)
- DotA 2 - Support Main*
- Heroes of Newerth - Support Main*
- Infinite Crisis - Support Main. I'm starting to see a pattern here...
- Smite - Yep you guessed it Support Main*
- Command & Conquer - Tiberium Series
- Command & Conquer - Red Alert Series (Perferred Series)
- Starcraft Series
- Sins of a Solar Empire
- Dawn of War Series
- Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne
- Age of Empires Series - My First RTS
- Demigod - My First MOBA
- Heroes of the Storm - Support Main
* - I am fairly new to THESE games and not the MOBA scene itself, but along with the different mechanics each of these games possesses I am labeling myself as a noob and use the "Support Main" looselyas I learn to play the support roles of these games. Note: Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Like with my MOBA games when ever I play RTS's I'm what you'd call a turtle. I like to play it safe and try my hand at making sure I have economical control of the map. I prefer 2v2's due to the fact that I'll make the base have have it heavily defended while my partner or partners take out our opponents' defenses. And backing them up with tanks, medics, Anti-vehicle weaponry, etc.
MMORPGs
- World of Warcraft - Vanilla - WotLK; MoP - (No Longer Playing)
- Rift - Greybriar
- Tera - I can't remember...
- Guild Wars 2 - Crystal Desert
- SWtOR - (No Longer Playing)
- ESO - Closed Beta - Maybe a Month After Launch - (No Longer Playing)
As with my Strategy games I tend to go for more of a support role, e.g. Tank, Heals, Support (Rift). And I make sure my off-spec is beneficial to my raid/group. I prefer to flock towards healing because that's how I started in MMORPGs was healing, then I branched out and started tanking and with Rift I found a fun in between healer/DPS that I enjoy on occasion.
Single Player Role Playing Games
- Elder Scrolls Series
- Dragon Age Series
- Knights of The Old Republic I & II
- Diablo Series - I consider these SPRPGs because I played them alone even though you could play with other people, my computer was not equiped for that
- The Legend of Zelda Series*
- Pokemon Series
- Final Fantasy Series*
- Baldur's Gate
These I feel like I go more for a tanky s&s type character with a hint of magic (Elder Scrolls) and the others I just go for tankiness.
* - These can also be considered Adventure Games.
This is no where near the amount of games that I play. My library is extensive (not as extensive as I'd like but nonetheless). This was just to give you a general overview of my favorite types of genres that I enjoy the most.
My Information
- League of Legends - SanctionAngel
- Steam - sanctionangel (DotA 2)
- Smite - SanctionAngel/Lowfatyogert
- Infinite Crisis - SanctionAngel
- Battlenet - Sanction#1155

Welcome man! That was quite the intro.

Agree with Mizel. That was just straight up...impressive man. I've never seen an intro like that haha.
Welcome to the forum! I added you as a Bnet friend I have SC2 but don't play so much, thinking of getting back into it though. Most of my time is on WoW, and Diablo 3 in random spurts lol.
Hope to see you around!

xD Well thank ya'll. I treat the first post on a forum like a job interview.. the first impression needs the very best. And I tend to explain things a lot especially when it comes to strategery games o.o
ROFLBRYCE - I'll add you as soon as I get back on Bnet ..

Welcome to the forum, I also like your intro.
I'm a big League of Legends gamer (ranked Gold at the moment). I've played most of the other games you mentioned, but nearly not as much as League.

League is one of my more frequent games, but with the community slowly growing more and more toxic with the stereotypical "CoD Kids" joining more and more. I've been slowly falling out of love with it since the middle of Season 3. I miss the good ol' days in Seasons 1 & 2 where the community seemed more helpful.
