    I used meebo one time, including ebuddy. they're both great because they are only online... whereas you cant download at a public computer or somethin like that.
    but if you have yahoo or hotmail, I think they include messengers whenever you check your email... I think gmail has it too....

    One thing i failed to find so far is Windows messenger in mail program. I mean we have chat in yahoo mail ,gmail but where it is in hotmail ?

    Humorously enough, I believe Steam has become my most active "messenger." Right next to Yahoo.

    I use Trillian to combine everything but I really like Skype as well.

    If I had to choose a favorite instant messenger, I would choose AIM. I do not use instant messenger anymore. I'd rather talk to someone face-to-face. I send e-mails for things that are better over the internet, but talking through instant messenger has become too taboo.
