Favorite Racing Games

Burnout was an excellent racing game - the visual effects when you actually start burning out just immediately pull you into the "zone" ... there was a certain high from playing that game that I couldn't quite reproduce as easily with other racing titles

but - all time favorite? Definitely Rush 2049 for the N64! The Battle and Stunt modes in that game enabled it with replayability that STILL has me sit down to play it with my family sometimes It wasn't a huge seller or incredibly popular, but those that found it fell into their own secret cult love

Yes all of what you said is true , I am just not into lap raceing on a circut . So i prefer wide range races.

The racing game that I enjoyed a lot was Grid and there are many fast and extremely fast vehicles there that you can buy and there are also drifts and 24 hour lemans which is really awesome and there are one on one challenges in the game for you to beat the leader fair and square.
