Graphic Card.
Alright guys, I'm thinking about getting a new gfx card for my PC, however I need some help deciding. I got these:
(Iunno if I could post links yet, soo I posted names )
eVGA GeForce 6200LE 128MB AGP 8X Video Card (128-A8-N292-LX) $34.99
EVGA e-GeForce FX 5200 Video Card (128A8N303L2) $31.99
However if you find anything else that's better, and under $50.00, I'll be glad to look at it.

graphics card discussion doesn't really go in the "graphics" section since that's mainly with web graphics work lol, moved your thread to computer help section
lol the geforce fx 5200 card is what i have, complete crap if you want to play games out these days
i wouldn't recommend the other one out their either, i'll try to find you a budget one under $50, what type of motherboard do you have?
well what kind of PCI cards can it take? it'll make my search easier

Man the last two sentences didn't mean anything to me. I'll check dxdiag at my motherboard.
Ok dxdiag didn't say anything about the motherboard.
How do I check this stuff ?

I have an HP Pavilion 525w
Thanks for teh help so far.

np, here is what i pulled
ur motherboard name is Asus P4G533 (Echo)
it has just three regular PCI slots and looking at some of its other specs, not the best out there since its using just DDR memory lol, dont worry mine is the same
i'll see if i can find a good one for you, but that pc is coming out to be nearly 5 years old - 2 more months and you can celebrate its 5th birthday

I know, but I can't convince my parents to get a new one.
I plan on getting more RAM as well.

the maximum that motherboard will allow is 1GB lol, so if ur looking to upgrade to above 1 gb, I'd recommend not to, it may work and it may not work, its just up to you to take the chance
just have a friend that had a mobo that allows 4gb max and he stuffed in an extra 1gb RAM card along with 2 2gb ones, i THINK he said he had to return the other card, don't remember
and where do you live? if its in the UK somewhere, lonewolf builds PCs lol

I live up in Arkansas, near Memphis in the US.

well then even I can't help you lol, if you lived near NY or NJ i probably could have gone and helped you out, memphis is toooooo far lol
as for gfx card, here is one:
Newegg.com - EVGA 256-P1-N399-LX GeForce 6200 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Video Card - Retail
that one should be compatible with your motherboard although I am not a 100% sure since your mobo is pretty old
there aren't many good ones out there that fit on a regular PCI like that anymore
it costs $50 + shipping but there is a $10 mail in rebate on that
