Ok then..... I don't think it's going to be called the xbox 720, I don't really like that name.

lol its all over google so its possible. But they do know that Microsoft IS going to release a new console somewhere between 2009-2010 (again thats what most places are saying so it may not be true)

Well the average console has about a 5 year lifespan. But after the RROD I'm sure MS will spend more time making sure everything's ok with the next one.

yeah I hope they don't release it any time I just got my xbox 360 I would hate it if they stopped releasing stuff on the xbox 360

well the ps3 has been out and they still release stuff for ps2

MS isn't going to bring out another one any time soon. They'll want to get every last penny outta the 360 first.
