    Default Final Fantasy 11

Final Fantasy is a long series of RPG's, it is probably the most known series of Role Playing Games. But, how many people knew that Square Enix released a MMORPG of Final Fantasy? It may not be hard of because, Final Fantasy 11 was big a hit in japan, but it didn't catch on as well in North America. Just like many great MMORPG's you have to pay a monthly subscription fee of $14.

    Release Date:
    Japan: 05/16/2002 (PS2), 11/07/2002 (PC)
    USA: 10/28/2003 (PS2), 03/23/2004 (PC)
    Europe: 09/16/2004 (PS2)

Like most MMORPG's you pick your race and job ( A Job in this game is like Warrior, Black Mage, ect. It's just like a class in WoW ) before you start playing. Their is 5 races, each race is good at a certain range of jobs. Their is also different major cities at which you can start at. Races are home to curtain cities and if you join the city that your race is home to, you get a bonus item. The major cities consist of:

    San D'oria

    Bastok

    Windurst

    The different races consist of:

    Hume/Humans

Humans have average stats. They're are not good or bad at any job and are home to Bastok.

    Elvaan

Elvaans have very little magic skills. Their main focus is on melee. They are one of the best melee DPS jobs. Elvaans are home too San D'oria.

    Tarutaru

Tarutaru are the best spell casters in the game. They have the most intellect which gives them better healing and damage done by spell. Tarutaru are home to Windurst.

    Mithra

Mithra are known for their speed and agility. This makes them really good at Thief and Ninja. Mithra's can also pull of good dps if you use the right job. Mithra are home too Windurst.

    Galka

Galka have the best Defence and Strength in the game. This makes them the best Warriors in the game, they can pull of great damage. Galka are home to Bastok.

When you first start off, the fun doesn't begin till your reach level 10 so you can join a group. In Final Fantasy 11, you almost have to level in a group. Their isn't any quest that give you experience. If you want to level by soloing then I hope you have a lot of time on your hands. It would take aegis of playing. The normal party consist of 5 people and you kill mobs of about 3 or 4 levels higher than you. This may not seem like a lot, but mobs are tough in this game. It's hard to solo something that is your level.

After you reach level 30 you unlock more jobs, you can use. These jobs are normally more powerful. When you start, you get to pick from:
    Black Mage
    Monk
    Red Mage
    Thief
    Warrior
    White Mage

After you reach level 30, you can unlock:
    Bard
    Beastmaster
    Blue Mage
    Corsair
    Dancer
    Dark Knight
    Dragoon
    Ninja
    Paladin
    Puppetmaster
    Ranger
    Samurai
    Scholar
    Summoner

Logically, I'm not going to list what they all do, but as you can tell, you have a ton of more jobs to pick from after 30. The level cap is at 80 if you buy all the expansions. I think their is 6 of them. When you get too 80 their isn't much to do their is no pvp. So you can't go around killing low levels. All I did was get the best armor and then I sold my account for 400 dollars.

    Graphics - 9/10
The graphics are pretty great in this game. I can't run high graphic's without my computer crashing.

    Game Play - 8/10
It's fun till you reach the level cap, then their is nothing to do. I like the fact that the only way to level is to group up with 4 people.

    Life Span - 5/10
I played it for about 5 months, it took me about 4 to get to 70 ( that was the level cap when I played.) Then I worked on my armor for a month and said screw it.

    Story Line - 6/10
This also has a small story line in it. You just have to search.

    Overall - 8/10
If you find something fun to do when you reach level 80, then you should be fine. I enjoyed playing it for the most part.
