August 7th Downtime

I got a few IMs from people that use our GF Servers asking what happened this afternoon. This thread is to clear all that up.

There was a cable power outage in my area that lasted nearly 6 hours. I have no control over this and all I could do was wait. This does not happen often but if you are wondering like the few others that have contacted me, it was just a power outage.

Nothing has changed. IPs are still the same, map configurations are still the same, server has not changed. Hopefully this clears it all up.

yea it was worse...glad it was fixed though - would have gone crazy

it took the gf servers some time to get back online too, thats when the IMs came in..
