Carrying over our conversation from This Thread. Didn't want to derail it any further.

I just gotta gripe one more time about how ridiculous this show is becoming. Mostly, as I said before, because of how inconsistent they are with Barry's abilities.

Regarding the latest episode; Why the **** can't he super-speed punch Captain Cold and Hothead in the face and/or simply take their guns? No. Instead the only way to defeat these entirely non-super villains is to get them to cross weapon streams so they cancel each other out and blah blah blah more bull****. I understand it would make for a lousy fight scene if he just ran in and knocked them out but c'mon. The entire first half of this episode was about Barry getting even faster than ever. Either give us more powerful villains or don't jump straight into Barry obtaining near time-stopping speed and then struggling to best a couple slowpokes with slow plasma blasters.. because people notice that ****.

It's a bummer because I do like the characters (for the most part), and it had the potential to be a lot of fun to watch. But it's so stupid I almost feel insulted watching it, lol.
