Oh, i just read some.
the jesus jokes aren't anti religion more than just being funny to me.
not your cup of tea, yeah, but it doens't mean these guys hate jesus.
and the "doesn
t ahve ot have good art style to be funny" thing has been done many a time. hell, some webcomics don't even draw their stuff.
and alot of inside jokes maybe?

I've got no idea how much it cost.
I was thinking it was satirical. Not a metaphor. But that makes sense too. :P
EDIT: I didn't notice the razor in his hand... makes more sense now. xD

Personally, I did'nt get either until someone explained them. : (
though, I support you. I think it's got potential, like animal crossing. nobody likes it at first, but then they end up wondering why they're so addicted to paying bills and helping their neighbor get a handkercheif back.
I think if you try to go for a broader arrange of gamers,(and honestly? cut down on teh fragtalk,kk nub?) you may get animal crossing results.

A lot of the jokes rely on knowledge of the characters personality. Something that is slowly being defined in the comics.

I would try to keep jokes that rely on a character's personality out, or add some later on. A comic that many people can laugh at is a success, a comic that two people can laugh at is.. well, just an inside joke?

I agree.
Jokes that rely on a characters personality work a lot better with comics that are widely known.
Red vs. Blue and VG Cats are good examples.

Yea, I mean, if I made a comic about all the jokes I make in the day, no body on this forum would laugh, well, 2 others.
For my jokes, you have to know me. I can't tell you one, hoping you'll laugh. You have to know my personality. And with a comic that is new...that can't really be done.

True. At least some of the others we do are pretty funny. =| It's just usually hard to think up random game jokes. Takes a lot of work.

You mean 1 guy with no money who has his grandmother pay for his site, and now Adobe Flash and Photoshop bashing someone's god who I don't care about because I'm a Pastafarian.
