    Default Sawed-Off USB Drive


    Holy crap-- somebody just went and TORE MY FREAKING USB CABLE IN HALF while it was still attached to my laptop!!!

    No-- wait-- sorry. That's just my USB drive. My bad. Never mind.

    (And after the jump, how to make your own.)

    It's no secret that there are a lot of strange USB devices out there, particularly flash drives. Not a comprehensive list, but we've sure seen Lego, twigs, action figures, bowling balls, sushi, anatomical parts, transparent drives, erasers, cassette tapes and on and on and on.

    Despite all that, the picture above is a little surprising-- because yes, it's a working USB flash drive. Here, we give the step by step walk through of how to make your own.

    I was like, "That's Awesome. I'm gonna make it."

    Which, after I buy my iTouch, I will make it. Lol.
    Might even make it before than if I am feeling like it, they make it so simple.

    very clever lol - i might try it before classes start up for me and show the "magic" to all of my friends lol - they already think I'm a computer nerd, wouldn't mind increasing that a little more

    I ordered the USB Drive today, so I should get it on Saturday, Monday, or Tuesday.
    I hope Saturday so I can work on it before I leave for Camp on Sunday.

    Hope it works out, otherwise I wasted $10 Dx

    That is freakin sweet. Ill have to bust out some old cords and my USB drive. Havnt really had a use for it lately. My friends will be like..... WTF?
