Not that I know of 80% of running a game is your Graphics card. Easiest thing to do is see what the recommend requirements are for the game you want to play. Then see if the PC your buying has a better card than the one needed. If you're buying a half way decent card you should be able to play any game fine on medium/high graphics. My cards almost 4 years old now and only games I have issues with are the newer ones. I just have to lower my graphics and it'll run smooth.
