assassins creed/COD which ones do I get?

Hey dudes

I'm about to purchase my first console since the 90's - an XBOX ONE(I was always a Nintendo kid)although I'm clueless on modern gaming!

I'm looking to buy some cool games, particularly ASSASIN'S CREED and CALL OF DUTY … but there is like tons of them!? which ones do I get? which is the first relevant for xbox1? as I'd like to play them in order that you're supposed to.

Definitely Black Ops 3, it's a super fun game! There is no order in which you should buy lol...just whatever games interest you the most. I would probably suggest you going to youtube and checking out all the game play first for the games you like. Good luck and happy gaming

For Assassin's Creed, thankfully the modern games don't have a huge overarching story - you're pretty much good whichever one you get. That being said, I started with Black Flag and loved it - just make sure you understand a brief history of the Assassins and Templars. I can fill you in if you need.

If you want to start at the beginning, you're gonna have to go back and play like 5 games on the 360/ps3.
