Gamers Forum Upgraded - vB 3.7.0

I welcome all of you to vBulletin 3.7.0 here on Gamers Forum. It is THE largest upgrade the forum had to go through in vBulletin, an one of the longest upgrades since converting from SMF to vBulletin.

For the past 3+ Hours I have worked on getting this forum back up and running as soon as possible after a successful upgrade. And we have upgraded to the latest vBulletin version which brings us a lot more features and a lot more security.

This may not look like a huge difference but if you go to Make a post or thread, you will notice a "Tags" system - these are keywords that will help others find your threads faster and in a more efficient way in our tag cloud. That will be implemented a bit later and explanation will come soon.

One huge change is the User Profiles. Go check - it looks completely different. You can now add buddies, comment on other's profiles, and you can customize your own.

To Customize just go to UserCP and look at the left side bar and it should be a bit self-explanatory. I will also make a simple post about it later explaining it a bit more, even I don't know much about it now since I've only used it for 30 minutes.

Another huge update was the Portal on our first page - it was upgraded out of the Release Candidate version to the stable one. Our Arcade was also converted to fit vBulletin 3.7.0. And our GFP System was also converted to work with 3.7.0.

Without upgrades to all of these, this forum would not be complete. Image host, casino, and a few other mods had no updates. Other minor updates include the 24 hour users online list. And The Top Gamers.

Some other updates i forgot to mention:

1. Forum Moderators will also find a lot of things useful. For example - if you find a user spamming, instead of clicking "Delete Post" just click "Delete Posts as Spam" and you will get the Option to Delete ALL of that spammers posts just in case he did it all throughout and you can even ban them as you delete the threads or posts
   
   
2. And another thing about the buddy list, it is reciprocal, not like before where you added someone and that's it, the other person wouldn't even be notified - but now it is mutual
   
   
3. And another thing i forgot to mention is that everyone is now allowed to have picture albums in their profile. Use it as much as you want and create as many albums as it'll let you. Upload pictures and comment on them, and more.
   
   
4. Social Groups are also available - Create your own and invite others in. Make it public or keep it private and invite only. It is all up to the Social Group Creator.
