Default Weird But True (I don't know the number; I can't count that high in Roman numerals)

Boy, does this guy love his slyders.
An Air Force loadmaster had his leave extended by a week so he could be in Genoa Township, Mich., for the opening of a new White Castle.
Aaron Kay, 34, told his superior officer that he'd be "kind of heartbroken" if he had to return to Okinawa and missed it.

One German woman's fear of things official just wasn't official enough.
A court ruled that her phobia of official letters wasn't a good enough reason to reinstate her child-support benefits that she lost because she didn't respond to official correspondence.
The court said she should have sought help from others.

    No, it wasn't Amy Winehouse.
A British woman wearing a bad wig was busted at the airport in Oslo, Norway, after customs agents discovered 2.2 pounds of cocaine stashed under the hairpiece.
Apparently, the coke was glued so firmly to her head, she had to be taken to a hospital to have it removed.

You know its time to hang it up in politics if you can't even beat a dead guy.
Residents of a Romanian village voted in Neculai Ivascu - who had run the village for two decades - even though he'd died of liver disease hours after polls opened.
"I know he died, but I don't want change," said one villager.
In the end, election officials gave the post to the runner-up.

Clearly, streaking has lost its edge at one Philippine university.
Members of a frat agreed to hold their annual ritual of running naked six months early to coincide with the University of the Philippines' centennial.
The fraternity got more than 100 members and alumni to participate - its largest number of nudists ever.

    The Armageddon is near.

I like the one where they voted for the dead guy.
If I was a candidate, I would feel like crap being the runner-up to some deceased guy, lol.

LOL, Mr. Palmer would make me put the paper on his desk or throw it away; I would read them to you fast and then I would throw it away; memories...
