That would mean we'd lose all our posts?

Re: 200 Members!!
No, he would convert the forum to a vBulletin, which means everything would remain. They make tools so you can convert from forum to forum without losing anything. Some conversions go bad, and you lose some things, but for the most part, everything remains.

Re: 200 Members!!
Depends on the person :P. I admin at a forum that uses vB, but I have also used SMF, and like them both, so it is the user's opinion in the end

Re: 200 Members!!
smf is great for free softwares vbulletin is great for paid one and yes i did convert from last forum software YaBB -- it wasnt a smooth conversion but i was able to keep all the posts, topics, members, private messages, and boards without any problems or losing any info. but it'll be a while before i decide to do that because for now i am happy with smf

Re: 200 Members!!
Well I say go for it Linux. If vBulletin is worth all the hype, we should try it; no harm in trying, right?
The Armageddon is near.
