Well in the old n days of gaming it wasnt about the graphics and more about the all around game play....

Nowadays its all about graphics and less about actually game play..

yea kinda of.. its more of a over the shoulder view... which I hate bc some of your body/head will get in your way of seeing enemies..

I wish they would of just kept it a standard 3rd person view...

It looks almost like any other fps by the screenshots. Good graphics but doesnt reveal much of hte gameplay.

What was the other socom games like? A more realisitic gameplay or was it more arcade like?

Socom2 was more arcade then realistic in my opinion. When Socom 3/CA came out it got a little slower and more realistic... Yet still had a arcade feeling to it... When Socom Confrontation game came out it was realistic in the movements of the character, graphics, and a lot slower...

I think Socom 4 will take a step back and go back to a little more arcade feel... yet still be realistic at the same time... I have ps plus and will get the beta so I can tell you more about it then...

    thanks.

So maybe it will be like a mix of bfbc and cod with some strains of ghost recon.
