Eps, your on a game forum, for people who love games. And I'm excited about a game. And I'm not even close to obsessed yet. Wait till the week before it launches. I'm stockpiling food and water, and re-arranging my house for a few friends TV's and installing new locks.

You jealous that I'm excited or are you just trolling? Either way, if you don't have anything to say don't say it.

Good to hear, at least I would hope people can relate.

Back the crazed zealotry. The Monster Hunter series has been something I have followed since its birth, before anyone knew what it was in America. And the servers being shut down for the first game was a dark time in history.

All those monsters I will never again slay... Lau, Fatalist, the + version of most monsters. Finally that injustice shall be made right.

And now with the ammount of pre orders for Monster Hunter3, Microsoft has announced they plan to bring monster hunter frontier (the ever expanding PC version) to Xbox Live.

Untold hours will be sacrificed to the gaming alter. Making our gods even more powerful.. .

man, i miss Monster Hunter Freedom...I sat around all day a few summers ago slaying kut-ku's listening to dragonforce. a-ha it was epic.

I got the the Rathalos mission and couldn't beat it. Later I started a new game and haven't played it since.

you never beat a rath? He is only mid level difficulty really, you just have to learn his movements and use dirty tricks like flashbombs and pitfalls. I guess you should have gone online with it.

You can even "headlock" (attack in a pattern that makes them flinch before they can move or attack) still in in freedom I think. We used to do rath missions in 5min with two people that way. One person holds them in a headlock, other cuts the tail off, then another headlock with your partner attacking the back right leg.

I still solo the troublesome pair on the PS2 offline, the rath and rathian duo quest. Only real challenge left offline.

Its on the PC in Japan. Might only be on the 360 in America if at all now that I look the news specifically was:

It has been recently announced that Monster Frontier will also be moving onto the Xbox 360 in the near future, causing some to speculate if this means an American release of Frontier is on the horizon, due to the difference in 360 popularity in the US and Japan.
But if you think about it, it pretty much sounds like its in the works just not fully announced yet. If I where PR I would wait until after Monster Hunter3 gained momentum in the US to announce it as well.

well I couldn't go online with my psp, i didn't know how. i don't think you could with first generation ones. and he was pretty freaking hard considering my armor was horrible, but i couldn't get anything better because everything good needed rathalos+ parts.

Does anyone else think its funny the game is coming out on 4/20? You have no idea how hard it was to convince my employer that I needed April 20-21 off.

Hmm... well I do remember how hard they used to be. Steep learning curve if you dont have buddies to help you out for sure. For the first time on freedom I beat the rath with duel swords, with bone armor, and it was pretty close. But if you bring 10 healing pots, 10 mega pots and 10 honey and the materials to make 10 more pots you can just make healing potions on the run. Or at least thats how I had to do it.
