-Houdini Splicers from Bioshock. I remember the first time I faced one I was like Wtf? Where did it go?
-Big Sisters from Bioshock 2. I got Massacred the first time I went up against one.
-Basically all the special enemies from L4D 1&2 (boomer, smoker, witch, ETC). Some are a real pain in the ass until you get the hang of it...
But when you get the hang of how to kill them, you power through them...

Memorable enemies? I know it's very recent but if you played dark souls, you know what I'm talking about.

Gaping Dragon. Yeah.. what is it? Well this might spoil things and if you don't like that sorta stuff don't watch it. But I didn't see this video and just happen to not know what I was getting myself into. Let's just say a lot of curse words with the word "oohhhhh" in front of it.

In the Dynasty and Samurai warrior series, I've developed a bitter hatred for any kind of long distance assailant: archers, mages, riflemen, etc. There are few worse fates (at least in that game) to be holding your own against a mob of foes and then get your chain interrupted by a random arrow. That one pause is all the enemies around you need in order to rip you to shreds. Grrr.

I gotta say one of the most annoying enemies to me were the Goombas in Super Mario 64. Urggh, so annoying.
