PC vs Console

Hey guys,
I know you have probabley seen a million of these threads but here's mine. Just a bit of background first though i'm affraid.
This feedback on this post is going to be used in a Uni assignment I have about gaming types on PC vs Console.
I am looking for an opinion and also a little description of why you feel that way.
My own personal view is that for FPS games it is PC all the way. I dont like the feel of the controls that you get from a Console and the whole thing is alien and scary to me
But for sandbox games such as GTA and Red Dead, you cannot beat Console.

So after the waffle my Question.......

What is your opinion on PC vs Console?
Please feel free to be specific if you want i.e. FPS, Sport games.
